HTC H7 Dual SIM, 7 inch display and Android 5.0 Lollipop might be released soon in Indian markets |
HTC’s first Indian launch was in 2011 with its HTC Flyer. However, the company did not get much success till last year when it partnered with Google to launch the Nexus 9 tablet.
The Indian import/export database Zauba has spotted a Tablet imported from China with the code name HTC-H7 which seems to have been imported for the purpose of testing. Below embedded image gives the details as seen in the import database.
This mysterious tablet will sport a 7 inch touch screen display and is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.
Further it has been packed with 1GB RAM and an in-built memory of 16 GB.
In addition the Tablet would run on Android 5.0 Lollipop and expected to have new Sense 7.0 UI.
The Tablet has a dual SIM configuration.
As per the data the price of this Tablet reflects to be INR 9,565 ($150) however, this does not seem to be the final cost as the Tablets not for sale and imported for tests.
The H7#F WiFi variant will be available for sale only in the Asian countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and India.
On the other hand H7#DUG Dual SIM variant will be supported with 3G.
For now HTC does not have plans to release its Dual SIM Tablets in US and EMEA markets.
What more the HTC H7 Tablets will be available in various colors such as Modern Black, Delicate Rose and Airy Blue.
The release date has not been declared yet.
