1. England's fast bowler James Anderson has been honoured by Queen Elizabeth II with Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) after becoming England cricket's leading Test wicket-taker. Anderson became the first England bowler to take more than 400 Test wickets.

इंग्लैंड के तेज गेंदबाज जेम्स एंडरसन को ब्रिटेन की महारानी एलिजाबेथ द्वितीय ने ऑफिसर ऑफ द मोस्ट एक्सीलेंट ऑर्डर ऑफ ब्रिटिश एम्पायर (ओबीई) से सम्मानित किया है। महारानी ने इंग्लैंड के लिए सबसे अधिक टेस्ट विकेट हासिल करने पर एंडरसन को यह मान दिया। एंडरसन ने अब तक इंग्लैंड के लिए टेस्ट मैचों में 400 से अधिक विकेट लिए हैं। वह यह मुकाम हासिल करने वाले पहले इंग्लिश खिलाड़ी हैं।

2. Prof. Sanghmitra Bandyopadhayay was appointed as the Director of Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) by the Union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI). She is the first woman to lead the institute and replaced Dr. Bimal K. Roy who was removed on charges of indiscipline.

प्रोफेसर संघमित्रा बंद्योपाध्याय को सांख्यिकी एवं कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्रालय (एमओएसपीआई) द्वारा भारतीय सांख्यिकी संस्थान (आईएसआई) के निदेशक के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया। वह संस्थान का नेतृत्व करने वाली पहली महिला हैं और उन्होंने अनुशासनहीनता के आरोप में निलंबित किए गए डॉ. बिमल के. रॉय का स्थान लिया है।

3. As per recently released report by British Petroleum (BP) Energy Company, United States (US) became the world’s largest oil producer in 2014 surpassing Saudi Arabia. US had produced 11.6 million barrels of oil per day. While, Saudi Arabia was placed second position as it had produced 11.5 million barrels of oil per day in 2014. Russia with 10.8 million barrels of oil per day oil production was placed third.

ब्रिटिश पेट्रोलियम (बीपी) ऊर्जा कंपनी द्वारा जारी नवीनतम रिपोर्ट के अनुसार 2014 में संयुक्त राज्य (यूएस) सऊदी अरब को पछाड़कर दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा तेल उत्पादक देश बन गया है। अमेरिका ने 2014 में रोजाना 1.16 करोड़ बैरल तेल का उत्पादन किया। जबकि सऊदी अरब 1.15 करोड़ बैरल के दैनिक उत्पादन के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर रहा। तीसरे नंबर पर रहे रूस ने 1.08 करोड़ बैरल कच्चे तेल का प्रतिदिन उत्पादन किया।

4. Former BCCI chief and current ICC Chairman N. Srinivasan was unanimously re-elected for the 14th successive time the President of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TCA) in its 85th Annual General Meeting. Srinivasan, who was forced to step aside from BCCI President's post and later withdraw from a possible re-election, has been elected in the TNCA for a one-year term. Incumbent Secretary Kashi Viswanathan also held on to his position for another term.

बीसीसीआई के पूर्व प्रमुख और आईसीसी के मौजूदा चेयरमैन एन. श्रीनिवासन को तमिलनाडु क्रिकेट संघ (टीएनसीए) की 85वीं वाषिर्क आम बैठक में सर्वसम्मति से लगातार 14वीं बार अध्यक्ष के रूप में पुन: निर्वाचित किया गया है। श्रीनिवासन को इस पद पर एक साल के लिए चुना गया है। इससे पहले आईपीएल स्पाट फिक्सिंग प्रकरण के कारण श्रीनिवासन को बीसीसीआई अध्यक्ष के तौर पर जिम्मेदारियों के निर्वहन से रोक दिया गया था और बाद में उन्हें बीसीसीआई अध्यक्ष पद पर दोबारा संभावित चयन से भी हटना पड़ा। निवर्तमान सचिव काशी विश्वनाथन भी एक और कार्यकाल के लिए अपने पद पर बरकरार रहेंगे।

5. Twitter chief executive Dick Costolo announced to resign from his post and will be replaced on an interim basis from July 1 by co-founder Jack Dorsey. Costolo guided the San Francisco-based firm through its initial public offering, but growth has been disappointing and the company has yet to show a profit.

ट्विटर के मुख्य कार्यकारी डिक कोस्टोलो ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा देने की घोषणा कर दी है और अंतरिम आधार पर 1 जुलाई से कंपनी के सह-संस्थापक जैक डोर्सी इनकी जगह लेंगे। कोस्टोलो ने आईपीओ के दौरान कंपनी का नेतृत्व किया लेकिन वृद्धि निराशाजनक रही और कंपनी अब तक मुनाफे नहीं दिखा पाई है।

6. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) and Sports Authority of India (SAI) have agreed to participate closely in the development of the game. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed by AIFF general secretary Kushal Das and Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. The general secretary also outlined the basic framework of the agreement which worked on three broad areas of coach education, talent identification and infrastructural development.

अखिल भारतीय फुटबाल महासंघ (एआईएफएफ) और भारतीय खेल प्राधिकरण (साई) देश में फुटबाल को बढ़ावा देने के लिए मिलकर काम करने पर सहमत हुए हैं। इस संबंध में एआईएफएफ के महासचिव कुशाल दास और केंद्रीय खेल मंत्री सर्वानंद सोनोवाल ने एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किया। महासचिव के अनुसार समझौते के तहत तीन मुख्य क्षेत्रों पर ध्यान दिया जाएगा। इसमें कोचों का प्रशिक्षण, नई प्रतिभाओं की खोज और मूलभूत संरचनाओं को तैयार करने का कार्य शामिल है। 

7. The Reserve Bank India (RBI) gave permission to Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to invest in regulated chit funds in India. The permission to Indians abroad for participation in chit funds comes with riders. NRIs can subscribe to chit funds through banking channels, including accounts maintained in India. The state governments or Registrar of Chits may permit chit funds to accept subscription from NRIs on non-repatriation basis. 

भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक (आरबीआई) ने अप्रवासी भारतीयों (एनआरआई) को भारत के घरेलू संगठित चिट फण्ड में निवेश करने की अनुमति प्रदान की। अप्रवासी भारतीयों को भारत के घरेलू चिट फण्ड बाजार में निवेश करने की आरबीआई की यह अनुमति हालांकि कई शर्तों के साथ प्रदान की गई है। जैसे एनआरआई इन चिट फण्ड में निवेश करने के लिए बैंकिंग चैनल्स का इस्तेमाल कर सकेंगे जिसमें भारत में संचालित किए जा रहे उनके खाते भी शामिल हैं। राज्यों के चिट फण्ड रजिस्ट्रार इन अप्रवासी भारतीयों को चिट फण्ड में भाग लेने की अनुमति प्रदान करेंगे तथा इस धन को वापस नहीं भेजा जा सकेगा। 

8. Zimbabwe's Government has decided to end the local currency (Zimbabwean Dollar) by September 2015. This process starts from 15 June 2015 and people can exchange this currency with American dollar from their respective banks. Bank accounts with balances of up to 175 quadrillion Zimbabwean dollars to be paid just US$ 5 in the exchange. This is due to the fact that the Zimbabwean dollar has become almost worthless. 

जिम्बाब्वे की सरकार ने देश की मुद्रा (जिम्बाब्वे डॉलर) को सितम्बर 2015 तक समाप्त करने का निर्णय लिया है। मुद्रा को वापस लेने की यह प्रक्रिया 15 जून 2015 से शुरू हो जायेगी तथा लोग बैंकों में जाकर इस मुद्रा के एवज में अमेरिकी डॉलर ले सकेंगे। जिम्बाब्वे के डॉलर की स्थिति इतनी खराब हो चुकी है कि जिन बैंक खातों में 175 क्वाड्रिल्यन जिम्बाब्वे डॉलर तक बैंलेंस है, उन्हें 5 अमेरिकी डॉलर का भुगतान किया जाएगा।

9. Globally published photojournalist Chandu Mhatre, who photographed major political news stories of India for the past four decades passed away. He died because of heart attack. He was 66.

वैश्विक स्तर पर चर्चित फोटो पत्रकार चंदु म्हात्रे का 66 साल की उम्र में निधन हो गया। उनका निधन दिल का दौरा पड़ने से हुआ। पिछले चार दशक में उन्होंने भारत की प्रमुख राजनीतिक खबरों से संबंधित फोटोग्राफ लिए थे।
