Reliance Jio has inked a pact with Chinese firm Huawei to supply 4G devices, including smartphones, tablets and MiFi dongles.

Reliance Jio, which plans to launch 4G services this year in around five,00zero towns and cities, has additionally signed agreements with a number of other Chinese device makers.

As per the licensing agreement, thirty one August 2015 is that the deadline for all companies that won BWA spectrum in 2010, together with RJio, to roll out the services in at least ninety per cent of the service areas, failing that the Department of Telecom (DoT) will have the proper to withdraw the radio waves.

Earlier last week, RJio said that it's actively working with all major handset device makers to confirm and certify their phones for use on the network.

On seven May, the corporate raised debt of $750 million to procure merchandise and services from South Korean firms Samsung Electronics and Ace Technologies Corp.

While Ace Technologies provides telecom equipment, Samsung has its portfolio spread across technology vertical.
