1. Google has announced to build its largest campus outside the US in Hyderabad at an investment of Rs. 1,000 crore. Google and Govt of Telangana have inked an MoU to build their largest campus (outside US) in Hyderabad.

गूगल ने 1,000 करोड़ रुपये के निवेश से अमेरिका के बाहर हैदराबाद में अपने सबसे बड़े परिसर का निर्माण करने की घोषणा की है। गूगल और तेलंगाना सरकार ने हैदराबाद में (अमेरिका के बाहर) उनके सबसे बड़ी परिसर का निर्माण करने के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। 

2. K. Satish Reddy, the Chairman of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., was appointed as the Chairman of the National Safety Council (NSC). He was appointed by the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment. He succeeded Venu Srinivasan, the Chairman of Sundaram-Clayton Group.

डॉ. रेड्डीज लेबोरेटरीज लिमिटेड के अध्यक्ष के. सतीश रेड्डी को राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा परिषद (एनएससी) के अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया। उन्हें श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्रालय द्वारा नियुक्त किया गया। उन्होंने सुंदरम-क्लेटन समूह के अध्यक्ष वेणु श्रीनिवासन का स्थान ग्रहण किया।

3. India's Jisna Mathew set a new national youth record while winning a silver in girls' 400m race on the third day of the Asian Youth Athletics Championships. Jisna, a trainee under legendary P.T. Usha, clocked a creditable personal best time of 53.84 secs in the 400m final at Qatar Sports Club Stadium. The gold went to Bahraini girl Salwa Eid Nasser in 53.02s.

भारत की जिसना मैथ्यू ने एशियाई युवा एथलेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप के तीसरे दिन लड़कियों की 400 मीटर दौड़ में नया राष्ट्रीय युवा रिकार्ड बनाकर रजत पदक जीता। अपने जमाने की दिग्गज धाविका पी.टी. उषा से प्रशिक्षण लेने वाली जिसना ने कतर स्पोर्ट्स क्लब स्टेडियम में 400 मीटर के फाइनल में 53.84 सेकेंड का समय निकाला। बहरीन की सालवा ईद नासिर ने 53.02 सेकेंड के साथ स्वर्ण पदक जीता।

4. Kerala’s Kochi-based business incubator Startup Village was bestowed the national award for technology business incubator. The business incubator received the award from Minister of Science and Technology Harsh Vardhan. The business incubator has supported 530-plus nascent firms in three years.

केरल के कोच्चि स्थित स्टार्टअप विलेज ने प्रौद्योगिकी व्यापार इनक्यूबेटर के लिए राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार जीता है। व्यापार इनक्यूबेटर ने विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री हर्ष वर्धन से पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया। स्टार्टअप विलेज ने पिछले तीन साल में 530 से अधिक नयी फर्मो को सहायता देते हुए तेज गति से निष्पादन को प्रदर्शित किया है। 

5. American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM India) appointed Vanitha Narayanan as new Chairperson, the first woman to hold this post since the industry body's inception in 1992. Narayanan, who is the Managing Director of IBM India, holds an MBA in Marketing and Information Systems.

भारत में अमेरिकी चेंबर आफ कामर्स (एएमसीएचएएम इंडिया) ने वनिता नारायणन को नया अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है। 1992 में इस निकाय की स्थापना के बाद से यह इस पद को धारण करने वाली पहली महिला हैं। नारायणन आईबीएम इंडिया की प्रबंध निदेशक हैं तथा इन्होंने विपणन और सूचना प्रणाली में एमबीए किया है।

6. Indian tech billionaire Arun Pudur has been ranked as Asia's wealthiest entrepreneur under the age of 40, according to the Wealth-X list. The global wealth intelligence and prospecting company said Pudur, the owner and president of software firm Celframe, topped the list with a personal fortune of USD 4 billion. Pudur, a 37-year-old native of Chennai, founded Celframe in 1998 after graduating from university, and the software firm now produces the world's second most popular word processor after Microsoft. Pudur is followed by Zhou Yahui of China at the second place with a net worth of USD 2.2 billion.

वेल्थ-एक्स की ओर से जारी सूची के अनुसार भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी अरबपति अरुण पुडुर 40 से कम उम्र के सबसे अमीर एशियाई उद्यमी हैं। वैश्विक आधार पर संपत्ति का आकलन करने वाली कंपनी, वेल्थ-एक्स ने कहा कि साफ्टवेयर कंपनी सेल्फ्रेम के मालिक और अध्यक्ष, पुडुर 4 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर की व्यक्तिगत संपत्ति के साथ इस सूची में शीर्ष पर हैं। 37 वर्षीय पुडुर चेन्नई से हैं और उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातक करने के बाद 1998 में सेल्फ्रेम की स्थापना की थी और यह साफ्टवयेर कंपनी अब माइक्रोसाफ्ट के बाद विश्व का सबसे बड़ा वर्ड प्रोसेसर बनाती है। पुडुर के बाद 2.2 अरब डालर की परिसंपत्ति के साथ चीन के जाउ याहुई हैं।

7. Young Delhi runner Beant Singh and Kisan Narshi Tadvi won a gold each in boys' 800m and 3000m race as India bagged three medals on the second day of the Asian Youth Athletics Championships. 16-year-old Beant was in a class of his own in the two-lap event and strode to a comfortable victory, clocking 1.52.26, among the fastest times in the world this year in the youth category. The Delhi runner's win gave India their first gold medal. While Kishan Tadvi, who hails from a tribal region in Maharashtra, made it two, by winning the 3000m in an equally dominant performance of 8:26.24.

दिल्ली के युवा धावक बेअंत सिंह और किशन नरशी ताडवी ने एशियाई युवा एथलेटिक्स चैम्पियनशिप के दूसरे दिन क्रमश: लड़कों की 800 मीटर और लड़कियों की 3000 मीटर दौड़ में स्वर्ण पदक जीता। 16 वर्षीय बेअंत ने 1 मिनट 52.26 सेकंड का समय निकाला। बेअंत ने भारत को पहला स्वर्ण दिलाया जबकि महाराष्ट्र के आदिवासी इलाके की रहने वाली किशन ताडवी ने 8:26.24 का समय निकालकर 3000 मीटर की दौड़ जीती।

8. Discus thrower Vikas Gowda wins gold in Jamaican International Invitation meet. Ace Indian discus thrower Vikas Gowda continued with his fine form as he came up with an effort of 65.14m to win this event in the Jamaican International Invitation meet in Kingston.

भारत के दिग्गज चक्का फेंक खिलाड़ी विकास गौड़ा ने अपनी शानदार लय बरकरार रखते हुए किंग्सटन में जमैका अंतरराष्ट्रीय आमंत्रण मीट में 65.14 मीटर की दूरी पर चक्का फेंककर स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया।

9. China overtook the United States as the world's top importer of crude oil for the first time in April, and its purchases are expected to remain strong despite a slowing economy, with far-reaching consequences for global oil and commodities markets.

कच्चे तेल के आयात के मामले में चीन विश्व का सबसे बड़ा आयातक बन गया है। कच्चे तेल के आयात के मामले में पहली बार अप्रैल के महीने में चीन ने अमेरिका को पीछे छोड़ दिया है। अर्थव्यवस्था में कमी होने के बावजूद चीन ने कच्चे तेल का सबसे ज्य़ादा आयात किया है। चीन तेल कारोबार में अपनी हिस्सेदारी बढ़ाने पर जोर दे रहा है। 

10. President Pranab Mukherjee has appointed Justice Cyriac Joseph as acting Chairman of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). His appointment comes after then Chairman of NHRC Justice K.G. Balakrishnan completed his tenure. He will remain in office till new Chairman is appointed.

राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी ने राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग (एनएचआरसी) के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष के रूप में न्यायमूर्ति सिरियक जोसेफ को नियुक्त किया है। उनकी नियुक्ति तत्कालीन एनएचआरसी के अध्यक्ष, न्यायाधीश के.जी. बालाकृष्णन के कार्यकाल पूरा होने के बाद हुई। वह नये अध्यक्ष के नियुक्त होने तक कार्यालय में रहेगे।
