McDonald's Will Now Serve You At Your Table! | Advanced customer service

One of the giant junk food chains, McDonald's is evolving its customer service. Going to McDonald's won't be same again as a series of tests have been carried out in UK which will involve a touch-screen kiosk.

McDonald's is roping in tech for customer service. The customers can now place their orders on the kiosk, which also gives them an option of having a waiter deliver their meal at the table. The service has already been launched in France, Germany and Australia.

Talking about this new service, a representative of McD is quoted to have said, "We have listened to customer feedback, and to meet their evolving expectations, we are significantly investing in our restaurants to create an exciting, new environment and improve the customer experience. We are testing some new concepts, such as table service, whereby customers place their order via our new digital kiosks and then have their food brought to them. It is currently on test in our Mottram restaurant in Greater Manchester, but with plans to increase the trial over the coming month."

However, this service might take long to arrive in India as the spokesperson said "In those markets where it's being tested, it'll be reviewed before there's any kind of wider roll-out. It's up to each country to decide on a case-by-case basis what's best for their customers."
